Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
TeviTravel is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the experience for all users and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
Accessibility is part of how we build TeviTravel, not an afterthought. We want every traveller to be able to discover destinations, read guides, book tours, and use our AI assistant regardless of ability or the technology they rely on.
- We design and develop with accessibility in mind from the start.
- We treat accessibility as an ongoing process, reviewed with every release.
- We aim to support keyboard, screen-reader, voice-control, and touch users equally.
- We welcome feedback and treat accessibility barriers as bugs to be fixed.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making digital content more accessible. TeviTravel is designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the level referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 (European Accessibility Act) and used as the benchmark under the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Target standard: WCAG 2.2, Level AA.
- This also covers the requirements of WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 at Level AA.
- Automated accessibility checks run on every build to prevent regressions.
- It is "partially conformant" where noted below: some content provided by third parties or other users is not fully under our control.
Measures We Take
We have built the following accessibility features into the platform:
- Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading structure.
- Full keyboard operability, a "skip to content" link, visible focus indicators, and focus management in dialogs.
- Labelled form fields, clear error messages announced to assistive technology, and input-purpose hints for autofill.
- Colour contrast that meets the AA threshold, and a design that never relies on colour alone.
- Descriptive names for icon-only buttons and links, and alternative text for meaningful images.
- Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" setting and touch targets large enough to activate comfortably.
- Support for text resizing and reflow up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Compatibility
TeviTravel is designed to work with recent versions of the following, on both desktop and mobile devices:
- Modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack.
- Keyboard-only navigation and operating-system zoom up to 200%.
- The site may not work well with browsers more than three years old, or with JavaScript disabled.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following and are actively working to address them:
- Interactive maps provided by Google Maps are third-party components whose accessibility we do not fully control; a text address is always provided as an alternative.
- Tour listings sourced from external partners may occasionally contain images without descriptive alternative text.
- Photos and videos uploaded by other users may lack alternative text or captions.
- We are completing verification with real screen readers; if you find a barrier we have missed, please tell us.
How We Assess Accessibility
We evaluate the accessibility of TeviTravel using a combination of methods:
- Self-evaluation by our development team against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Automated accessibility checks integrated into our build pipeline and code review.
- Manual keyboard and assistive-technology testing on key user journeys.
